Founded earlier this year, Oasys is a blockchain designed and developed for the gaming community. The company said its architecture will provide benefits such as zero “gas fees” and high-speed transactions through combining Ethereum virtual machine-compatible layer 1 and layer 2 protocols.

The company’s founding team members include Yield Guild Games co-founder Gabby Dizon, Bandai Namco research president and CEO Hajime Nakatani, Jump Tokyo CEO Hironobu Ueno, Gumi founder and Thirdverse CEO Hironao Kunimitsu, and Sega co-COO Shuji Utsumi.

It is currently led by Daiki Moriyama, co-founder of a crypto project called Whole Earth Foundation.
